Blacker Yarns specialises in breed-specific British wool yarn, all spun under one roof in their mill in beautiful Cornwall in the South West of England. Their finest quality yarn is created by their highly skilled team of textile industry trained engineers and specialist mill operators.

Their story began in 2008 when they were created as a sister company to The Natural Fibre Company, and today, their extensive range of quality yarns has gained them a growing number of followers and customers from around the world, with a shared passion for 100% Natural British Wool.

They are passionate about our products and that’s why they work with only the very best quality fibre, sourced from British farmers who take the utmost care of their animals and nature. Traceability is key to what they do and by developing a greater understanding and respect for the many breeds of sheep (including rare and specialised ones) and their beautiful fleeces, they can produce the best knitting and crochet yarns giving their customers the opportunity to enjoy working with and wearing 100% pure and natural, unique wool.
